3 Days Tour Marrakech To Fes

The adventure of night in the desert

Day 1: The discoveries on our way Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Roses Valley- Dades Valley

We will start this Wonderfull tour at 8h am from you accommodation. We will take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, in the high Atlas Mountains. This will give us magnificent far-reaching views across the summits. We will stop for lunch, to eat at the foothills of Ait Ben Haddou village. This village is built entirely of adobe, manely straw and mud. It is part of the World Heritage List of UNESCO. This site has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”.

After lunch we will drive to Ouarzazate city. You will have the option to visit the Atlas Studios, renowned to be the Hollywood of Africa, and Taourirt Kasbah, a traditional Berber village. Then we continue to Dades gorges through Skoura and Rose valley. For the night, you have the choice to spend it in a beautiful 5 starts hotel, or in a traditional Berber Riad. Both are nice and comfortable, it just depend on what kind of experience you wish for.

Day 2: The desert Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga

After breakfast, we will drive from Dades gorges to Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Scattered along the way, you will discover traditional Berber villages . We will pass through Todra Gorges, Tenghir, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud villages, in which we will slowly start to see oasis of Tafilalet.

Once you arrive to Merzouga, the edge of the golden dunes, camels await for you. Yours luggage will be transported to the camp, while our desert guide, takes you across the dunes. We will be just in time for a  speechless saharan sunset.

At the camp, your host are waiting for you with tea and smiles. They will show you to your beautiful and comfortable private tents equipped with ensuite bathrooms and showers, where you can relax and settle before dinner time. At dinner, we will have a traditional tagine, drink delicious mint tea, listen to traditional berber music, while watching the stars and the rising moon above the dunes.

Day 3: The wild monkeys Merzouga – Ziz valley – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Fez

An early morning wake up is recommended to assist sunrise from the top of the Chebbi sand dunes. We are going to have breakfast in the camp, pack and go back, either on camels or by wheels, leaving the dunes behind us. Back on the asphalt roads, you will head north towards Fez via the High Atlas Mountains. On the way, we will drive through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia and Medilt. For lunch we will make a stop at the Cedar forests of Azrouat, where there is wild monkeys. Arriving in Fez, we will Drop you off at your accommodation.
